The theatre contrasts the light against the materiality and thickness of its walls. Double walls and natural light play an important role within the theatre. All services and circulation spaces are within these double walls. The concept of the ‘double wall’ has been extrapolated to the exterior spaces. The visitor is guided between green spaces and towards the building in a similar way as light guides the visitor inside the theatre.

El teatro contrasta la luz contra la materialidad y el grosor de los muros. Las dobles paredes y la luz natural juegan un importante papel. Todos los servicios y circulación se ven contenidos entre estas dobles paredes. El concepto del espacio entre muros se ve reflejado también en los espacios exteriores, el visitante es guiado entre los espacios verdes de la misma manera que la luz le guía por dentro del edificio.

The modular theatre room can allocate a total of 250 people. The space can be organized in variable ways, as the seats are modular and mobile. This room can also be opened completely towards the exterior, as one of its sidewalls is in fact mobile acting as a big door. This allows the room to open up towards the gardens outside to organize other events such as concerts, outside theatre or summer cinema between others.

La sala modular tiene un aforo de 250 personas. El espacio puede organizarse de diversas formas gracias a los asientos modulares y móviles. La sala también puede abrirse hacia el exterior ya que una de sus paredes es de hecho completamente móvil. Esto permite abrir la sala hacia el jardín para organizar otros eventos como conciertos, teatro callejero o cine de verano, entre otros.
