As an urban scenographer* I am a generalist mediator with an artistic vocation and technical skills: architect, illustrator, art director, craftswoman, philosopher…
Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of the West of England (Bristol, UK), with an Erasmus at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette (Paris, FR). I am currently studying for a Masters in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges at the UOC.
I do illustrations on commission. I have made architectural illustrations for international studios such as MVRDV (Holland), AREP (France) or Raumlabor Berlin (Germany).
I have collaborated with several architecture collectives in Madrid such as Madstock, Todo por la Praxis or Basurama and I was co-founder of NADA Colectivo.
I have worked as a facilitator and guest artist in several university workshops, such as the collective workshop-performance “Repas de Quartier” 4th Edition at the École Supérieure d’Art et Design de Valence-ESAD Valence (2018, France); the workshop in residence “Turismo Activo-Cultural” of the I Campus Arte-Turismo (2017, Gran Canaria); or the relational art workshop “Derivas por Madrid: Mapping the experience” for the Master in Tourism Management of Natural and Cultural Resources of the Carlos III University (2015 and 2016, Madrid).
I have also worked as a director or art assistant in several short films, advertising campaigns and theatrical scenographies. With the production company NEURADS I highlight the short film “Estigma”, by David Velduque (2018), winner of several international awards.
Since 2018 I started my “craft apprenticeship” as a guitar luthier assistant with Urdiain Guitars; guitar and music student with Miguel Gil; and student of the body and movement through contemporary dance with Tejido Conectivo.
*I work from attention -urbanity- mediating in the realm of gestures and rites -scenographies- of the common spaces of intersection-interaction between the intimate and the collective. I understand “urban” not as the opposite of “natural” but as urbanity, synonymous of attention. Urban not of “city” but of “care” (word game in spanish). Realizo ilustraciones por encargo. He realizando ilustraciones de arquitectura para estudios internacionales como MVRDV (Holanda), AREP (Francia) o Raumlabor Berlin (Alemania).
Ha colaborado con diversos colectivos de arquitectura madrileños como Madstock, Todo por la Praxis o Basurama y fuí co-fundadora de NADA Colectivo.
He trabajado como facilitadora y artista invitada en diversos workshops universitarios, como el taller-performance colectivo “Repas de Quartier” 4º Edición en la École Supérieure d’Art et Design de Valence-ESAD Valence (2018, Francia); el taller en residencia “Turismo Activo-Cultural” del I Campus Arte-Turismo (2017, Gran Canaria); o el taller de arte relacional “Derivas por Madrid: Mapeando la experiencia” para el Máster de Gestión Turística de Recursos Naturales y Culturales de la Universidad Carlos III (2015 y 2016, Madrid).
Además he trabajado como directora o ayudante de arte en varios cortometrajes, campañas publicitarias y escenografías teatrales. Con la productora NEURADS destaco el cortometraje “Estigma” de David Velduque (2018), ganador de diversos premios a nivel internacional.
Desde 2018 comencé mi “aprendizaje artesanal” como ayudante de lutier de guitarras con Urdiain Guitars; estudiante de guitarra y música con Miguel Gil; y estudiante del cuerpo y el movimiento a través de la danza contemporánea con Tejido Conectivo.
*Trabajo desde la atención —urbanidad— mediando en el ámbito de los gestos y ritos —escenografías— de los espacios comunes de intersección-interacción entre lo íntimo y lo colectivo. Entiendo “urbano” no como contrario a “natural” sino como urbanidad, sinónimo de atención. Urbano no de “ciudad” sino de “cuidad”. Una urbanidad que es atención al vivir: cuidados, escucha, diálogo…
