VI( )DA IS A MULTI-SUPPORTING ARTISTIC CREATION PROJECT THAT INVESTIGATES THE MEANING OF LIFE FROM THE EVERYDAY, FROM THE INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE, FROM THE EMPTY TO THE FULL, FROM THE NOTHING TO THE WHOLE. VI( )DA IS AN EXPERIMENTAL PROJECT THAT INHABITS VOIDS AS AN AESTHETIC PRACTICE AND TRANSCENDS LIMITS THROUGH PLAY. IT ARISES FROM THE DAILY LIFE EXPERIENCE AND THE INTERACTION IMAGE-SOUND-WORD; CONSTITUTING A COLLECTION OF SMALL PIECES COMBINING VIDEO, ILLUSTRATION, MUSIC, THOUGHT AND POETRY.
VI( )DA ES UN PROYECTO DE CREACIÓN ARTÍSTICA MULTISOPORTE QUE INDAGUA EN EL SIGNIFICADO DE LA VIDA DESDE LO COTIDIANO, DESDE LO INTERIOR A LO EXTERIOR, DESDE EL VACÍO AL LLENO, DE LA NADA AL TODO. VI( )DA ES UN PROYECTO EXPERIMENTAL QUE HABITA VACÍOS COMO PRÁCTICA ESTÉTICA Y TRANSCIENDE LÍMITES A TRAVÉS DEL JUEGO. SURGE DE LA EXPERIENCIA VITAL COTIDIANA Y LA INTERACCIÓN IMAGEN-SONIDO-PALABRA; CONSTITUYENDO UNA COLECCIÓN DE PEQUEÑAS PIEZAS CONJUGANDO VÍDEO, ILUSTRACIÓN, MÚSICA, PENSAMIENTO Y POESÍA.
VI( )DA investigates different types of voids-pauses-silences, which usually go unnoticed but are there present and operative, like the intersyllabic void of words. For example, the word VIDA (LIFE), heard in another way, attending to its void-pause, can be perceived as VI-DA: ver (see)-dar (give), observing-release. By living the word (and the daily doing) not in a conclusive way but from its cracks or silences we can transcend its meaning, cross its borders and discover other spaces, inhabit those voids.
VI( )DA indaga sobre distintos tipos de vacíos-pausas-silencios, que habitualmente nos pasan desapercibidos pero están ahí presentes y operativos, como el vacío intersilábico de las palabras. Por ejemplo, la palabra VIDA, escuchada de otro modo, atendiendo a su vacío-pausa, se puede percibir como VI–DA: ver–dar, observación–entrega. Viviendo la palabra (y el hacer cotidiano) no de forma conclusiva sino desde sus grietas o silencios podemos trascender su significado, atravesar sus fronteras y descubrir otros espacios, habitar esos vacíos.
VI( )DA part of an exercise, quasi-anthropological, of conscious observation of everyday experiences. In the last three years I have been recording day-to-day events, in the form of a “field notebook”, about life from life itself. An experiential, participatory, active and permanent research that has generated a collection of notes and fragments in the form of writings, graphic sketches, videos, sounds or musical compositions that are organized in: IMAGE, SOUND, WORD.
VI( )DA parte de un ejercicio, cuasi-antropológico, de observación consciente de experiencias de cotidianeidad. En los últimos tres años he estado registrando acontecimientos en el día a día, a modo de “cuaderno de campo”, sobre la vida desde lo vivido. Una investigación experiencial, participante, activa y permanente que ha generado una colección de notas y fragmentos en forma de escritos, bocetos gráficos, vídeos, sonidos o composiciones musicales que se organizan en: IMAGEN, SONIDO, PALABRA.

the awareness, feeling and understanding that is perceived in the creative process of that inhabited space-time (reflections, thoughts, poetics, word games, fantastic etymologies…).
PALABRA · DARSE CUENTA
la toma de consciencia, el sentir y la comprensión que se percibe en el proceso creativo de ese espacio-tiempo habitado (reflexiones, pensamientos, poéticas, juegos de palabras, etimologías fantásticas…).
VI( )DA is the place and time to merge all these moments in the form of an experimental artistic creation, assembling different languages of artistic expression, which represent three interconnected dimensions of reality: SPACE, TIME and AWARENESS.
VI( )DA es el lugar y momento de fusionar todos estos instantes en forma de creación artística experimental, ensamblando distintos lenguajes de expresión artística, que representan tres dimensiones interconectadas de la realidad: ESPACIO, TIEMPO y DARSE CUENTA.
