THE COLLECTIVE ACTION VACIANDO-SÉ, BASED ON THE “PRINCIPLE” OF INTENTION WITHOUT INTENTION, IS A PROPOSAL OF MANENA JUAN FOR THE CLEANING OF A PLACE, AN EXPLORATION OF THE “ART OF EMPTYING”.
« … to clean a room at the San Martín Hospital, with no other purpose than to experience this action (which will be recorded on video) as an artistic and experiential intervention and a shared process:
1. No contrived, linked to everyday life, domestic, ordinary and simple.
2. Helpful, collaborative, and generous.
3. Experiential, processual, ephemeral and unfinished.
4. Non-invasive, that subtracts more than adds.
5. Without adding, altering or manipulating any substantial object-based reality.»
